Project Overview
In 2022, we completed an external insulation and finishing project on a newly built red-brick complex in Clontarf. The design combined classic red brickwork at the front with a crisp white render at the rear, creating a timeless contrast. Each home featured a recessed porch and intricate brick detailing, requiring careful planning and craftsmanship to ensure a perfect finish. As these were new builds, no stripping of the previous façade was necessary—allowing us to focus entirely on precision installation and visual impact.
The recessed porches and detailed brickwork demanded extra precision to achieve clean, sharp lines. Integrating the external insulation system seamlessly into both brick and rendered areas required expert detailing to maintain a consistent look and prevent cold bridging.
We used tailored insulation board cuts and specialised corner beads to work around the porch recesses and complex brick interfaces. Our team applied the white render with a flawless, uniform finish that complemented the brickwork, while ensuring the insulation performance met the latest energy efficiency standards. The result is a striking, low-maintenance façade that combines modern thermal comfort with classic Dublin styling.
