Project Overview
In 2025, we completed a stylish external insulation project on a home in Glasnevin, Dublin. The client wanted a modern, low-maintenance finish that would improve thermal performance and enhance the character of their property. We delivered a full wrap with a clean grey render and custom-designed an arched reveal for the front entrance—blending energy efficiency with standout curb appeal.
The existing façade lacked insulation and the entrance was poorly defined, giving the home a dated look. The client wanted to add a distinctive design feature but wasn’t sure how to integrate it with modern insulation techniques.
We worked closely with the homeowner to design a bespoke archway around the front door, built directly into the insulated façade. Using a flexible mesh and high-spec detailing beads, we shaped and rendered the arch seamlessly. The grey KABE finish added a contemporary edge while the insulation significantly reduced heat loss. As always, we looked after the SEAI grant paperwork, so the client got a warmer home and a grant-backed upgrade with minimal hassle.
