Project Overview
In 2023, we completed a full external insulation retrofit on a family home in Skerries, Co. Dublin. The homeowners were eager to modernise the look of their property while improving thermal comfort and energy efficiency. We guided them through the SEAI grant process, ensuring they received funding support for the external insulation work. The project not only brought warmth to their home but also gave the exterior a fresh, contemporary finish.
Being close to the coast, the property was exposed to strong sea winds and salt air, which had taken a toll on the original render. The homeowners were also unsure where to start when it came to SEAI grants or choosing a suitable insulation finish.
We started with a thorough site inspection, taking time to explain the SEAI grant application process and what options were available to them.
